Writer, Actress, & Director
A founding member of the Time's Up movement, Amber Tamblyn is an author, actress, and director. She has been nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and an Independent Spirit Award for her work in television and film, and most recently wrote and directed the movie Paint it Black, based on the novel by Janet Fitch. She also reviews books of poetry by women for Bust magazine and is a contributing writer for the New York Times. The author of three books of poetry including the critically acclaimed bestseller Dark Sparkler, she recently released her debut novel, Any Man.
