Becca Heller

Director & Co-Founder, International Refugee Assistance Project
One of the world's foremost experts in refugee law and policy, Becca Heller is the Co-Founder & Director of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School. Becca has received numerous awards, including the Charles Bronfman Prize, a Skadden Fellowship, an Echoing Green Fellowship, a Gruber Human Rights Fellowship, and a Dartmouth College Martin Luther King, Jr., Emerging Leader in Social Justice Award. She was also named one of the Christian Science Monitor’s 30 under 30 change-makers, and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Through her work at IRAP, which organizes a virtual law firm of lawyers and law students from around the globe to enforce legal and human rights for refugees and displaced persons, she has advocated for thousands of the world’s most vulnerable people.
