Benro Ogunyipe is an accessibility specialist for the State of Illinois, Department of Human Services in Chicago. He is also a frequent presenter on the topic of employment rights and responsibilities of deaf and hard of hearing individuals under the provisions of Title I of the ADA. Ogunyipe served as President of the National Black Deaf Advocates, Inc. from 2011 to 2013 and as Vice President and Board Chairman from 2007 to 2011. He is a current member of the National Council on Disability and the Employment & Economic Opportunity for Persons with Disabilities Task Force.
