Bradley Garrett

Digital Dr. Bradley Garrett is a cultural geographer at the University of Southampton interested in how people build relationships to off-limits places in cities, such as ruins, tunnels and construction sites. He is the author of four books, including “Explore Everything: Place-Hacking the City,” an ethnographic account of one of the UK's most well-known urban exploration collectives, and, most recently, “London Rising: Illicit Photos from the City’s Heights,” which documents the social, infrastructural and corporate verticalities of the city. Garrett also writes a column about the politics of public and private space for Guardian Cities in the UK.
