Deputy Director, National Park Service
In November 2013, National Park Service Director Jonathan B. Jarvis named Christina Goldfuss as deputy director for Congressional and External Relations. Goldfuss’ duties include coordinating with Members of Congress and leading the National Park Service’s Office of Legislative and Congressional Affairs and Office of International Affairs. Prior to her current position, Goldfuss worked at The Center for American Progress, where she created and directed the Public Lands Project. The Public Lands Project introduced new policy ideas to responsibly develop energy on public lands, while communicating the economic value of conservation. Previously, Goldfuss served as staff for the House Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands.
