Gregg Treinish is Founder and Executive Director of Adventurers and Scientists for Conservation, a nonprofit dedicated to the fusion of the outdoor and science communities. Gregg was named a National Geographic Emerging Explorer (2013) and National Geographic Adventurer of the Year (2008). He has worked as a wildlife biologist, backcountry guide, and wilderness therapy supervisor, with notable accomplishments including travel to six continents (including a recent expedition to Mongolia to track wolverines), a 2,174-mile hike of the Appalachian Trail, and the first-ever completed trek across the Andes Mountain Range.
