Janet Rodriguez is a seven-time regional and national Emmy award–winning journalist who currently serves as White House Correspondent for Univision. Rodriguez began her broadcast career as a local reporter in Washington, D.C, later covered Phoenix, and was Telemundo's Midwest correspondent before joining the Univision team. She has traveled extensively on assignment, covering events that changed the United States like the riots in Ferguson, the migrant crisis at the Texas border, and Pope Francis’ visit. She was also embedded in the Ted Cruz presidential campaign, where she provided national coverage on matters impacting the Latino community.
