Researcher, Designer & Educator
Jeanne Marie Olson is radically interdisciplinary, always working at intersections: consulting and improvisation; design and organizational strategy; and learning and technology. Her recent SchoolCuts and CPSApples2Apples projects combined design research, data design, public education and social impact in the City of Chicago. SchoolCuts is currently on display at the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s City of Big Data exhibit. She teaches human-centered design and change as a member of the MSLOC Faculty for Northwestern University’s School of Education. She is also a National Council Member and Faculty Advisor for Design for America, a network of student-led studios creating social impact through design.
