Ecologist, Explorer & Research Scientist, The SETI Institute
Jut Wynne has bushwhacked through the jungles of Belize, rappelled into the deepest volcanic pit on Hawaii, endured the world’s driest desert in northern Chile, used cutting edge instruments onboard NASA aircraft and traveled to the most remote inhabited place on earth, Easter Island. There, he helped to unlock the secrets contained within caves and how they may improve our understanding of the natural world and interplanetary cave exploration. Wynne has extensive training in wildlife ecology, entomology, designing experiments and analyzing satellite imagery. He holds a Ph.D. in ecology, an M.S. in environmental science and a graduate certificate in EcoTechnie.
