Malcolm R. Lee served in the Obama administration as director of policy and strategic planning at the Commerce Department, and as senior director for intellectual property enforcement coordination at the Office of Management and Budget in the White House. He worked in the Clinton White House as special assistant to the president and senior director for international trade and economic policy at the National Economic Council and National Security Council, and at the Department of State as deputy assistant secretary and U.S. coordinator of international communications and information policy.
