Journalist & Retail Expert
British-born, New York-based Mark Ellwood has lived out of a suitcase for most of his life. After studying at Cambridge University in England for his undergraduate degree in English Literature and at The University of Chicago for his master’s, he moved to New York to become a print and broadcast journalist. He has written regularly for the Financial Times Weekend and The Wall Street Journal among others. Ellwood’s new book, "Bargain Fever: How to Shop in a Discounted World", examines our culture’s obsession with deals, discounts and never paying full price.
