One of the most accomplished swimmers of all-time, Natalie Coughlin is the most decorated female swimmer in World Championship history (18 medals) and is tied for the most career Olympic medals (12) for an American female. The most decorated female athlete of the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, Coughlin is the first American female athlete in the modern Olympic era to win six medals in a single Games. Outside the pool, Coughlin maintains an active and healthy lifestyle through her other passions including surfing, yoga, cooking, gardening and photography.
