Peggy Kusinski

Emmy Award–Winning Sports Reporter, NBC5 Chicago
A longtime NBC5 sports reporter and contributor to Sports Sunday, Peggy Kusinski is an 11-time Emmy award winner, including two national Emmys. Prior to joining NBC5, she was at ESPN, beginning as a production assistant and later working at an associate producer on such programs as NFL GameDay, Sunday Morning Sportsday, SportsCenter and Outside the Lines. She was the afternoon anchor on "SportsCenter" on ESPN Radio and the host of “The Point After.” Previously, she was the co-host of WMAQ-AM’s “Sports Huddle,” making her the first woman to host a sports talk show in Chicago. A native Chicagoan from the northwest side, Kusinski was an all-city/all-state basketball player. She currently sits on the Board Of Directors for Girls in the Game, a nonprofit that helps girls find their voice and strengths through sports, health and leadership programs.
