Drummer, producer and New York Times best-selling author Questlove is the heartbeat of Philadelphia’s most influential hip-hop group. The Roots currently perform as house band for "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" with Questlove serving as musical director. The four-time Grammy-winning musician has directed artists as varied and acclaimed as D'Angelo, Eminem and Jay-Z. The multi-talented artist has written books, film scores and recently produced the original Broadway cast recording of "Hamilton" alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda. In the culinary world, Questlove hosts a series of food salons and guest judged on "Top Chef". He is a celebrity ambassador for Food Bank for New York City, serves on the City Harvest Food Council and is a board member of Edible Schoolyard.
