Ric Wilson is Chicago’s disco rap superstar, known for his three cruical EPs Soul Bounce, Negro Disco, and most recently, BANBA. He’s also an activist, one of eight delegates chosen to travel to Geneva, Switzerland, in 2014 representing the We Charge Genocide coalition, which presented its shadow report at the United Nations about the genocide and torture of black and brown youth by the Chicago Police Department. He is currently one of the faces of the new Bonobos Menswear campaign Project 172, which is challenging the rigid norms of masculinity and what a man looks like.
