Blackman is the first Hip Hop artist selected to work as a Cultural Ambassador with the U.S. Department of State. An alumnus of the Echoing Green Fellowship, Soros Foundation’s OSI fellowship, and the creator of Freestyle Union Cipher Workshop and Rhyme Like A Girl, Toni is highly respected as an artist and social entrepreneur. She has performed and spoken in 34 different countries and shared stages with Erykah Badu, Mos Def, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, and more.
